IMOPE - 2016-2019
|
First energy consumer in France the building escort tends at improving its systems and structural characteristics since 35 years. Despite all the efforts and support measures, actions seem limited and face the complexity of a heterogeneous and multi-stakeholder system. The project IMOPE aims at providing an open data tool for a better decision process on potential energy savings at the building scale taking into account local and territorial contraints. |
NEXT - 2015-2018
|
The goal of this research is to investigate the in-line and real-time use of novel holistic sludge descriptors to measure, monitor, model and predict sludge behavior through sludge treatment processes and use this knowledge for the optimization of design and operation of treatment processes. The research will help to optimize sludge treatment processes, improve their performance while reducing operational costs and the environmental impacts . This will result in important savings for treatment plants. |
ANNONA - 2014-2017 |
In order to promote and manage innovative urban freight transport solutions, the public authorities should be able to forecast the related economic sustainability and environmental and societal benefits of these. The ANNONA project intends to provide decision-makers with the means to assess a priori urban logistics improvement policies via an IT tool based on a geographic information system. |
OZOFLOT - 2011-2015 |
The OZOFLOT project proposes to develop an alternative flotation treatment, based on ozone as reactive gas, instead of air as usually done. A preliminary study has shown the potential benefits of this approach for enhancing flotation selectivity, thus obtaining a higher process yield and a better pulp quality, potentially suitable for almost all applications, including graphic papers. |
SHOWE-IT - 2011-2014
|
The SHOWE-IT project is an international initiative that is co-funded by the EC (through the PSP-ICT programme) which aims to reduce energy and water consumption in social housing. This project should prove the impact that ICT solutions can make in saving energy and water. Hence to create a solution that can be replicated easily and that will be attractive and accepted on a large scale across Europe. To make the results of the project financially viable we expect to need savings of around 20% in consumption. |
